What a Busy Two Weeks!

We had lots of rehearsals and events since we have been back. Younger son had his band concert, did a skit in church for the contemporary service and played Touchstone in his play on Thursday and Friday this week. The play went really well. We ended up with a terrible storm going through in the middle of the play. Bad enough where the actors were hard to hear for a few minutes! The director of the fine arts group was watching for tornadoes and deciding on whether or not to stop the play. Luckily it passed in about 10 or 15 minutes and the kids acted right through. The kids did a great job with Shakespeare. I posted a few pictures of the play following this post. I taped the play and we are watching it as I update :) Older son had to work and couldn't make either night. This week will be fun. The kids have a bowling party for the fine arts group ending the year until Fall. Younger son has a cast party on Friday at the directors home. He is already looking forward to Fall and the next play :)

On other news, we woke up to no electricity again today. While trying to fix the last problem they cut the two wires they fixed last week! We are back up and running now. Today older son went to church to see the new electric drums that were bought for the contemporary services. He is too excited! He plays each week and has been using bongos and a cymbal. So we are all looking forward to tomorrow. Younger son is singing again also.

Hope you are all having a great weekend!
